The Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (BCBA) was founded in the year 1854. The BCBA is a self-regulated non-profit civil association which is a major part of Argentina's economy.

In the evening the street becomes host to tango singers and dancers, living statues, and other street performers.

Santa Fe Avenue:
The Avenue Santa Fe is another major shopping destination of Buenos Aires. The Avenue is home to some fantastic hotels and mansions.

The avenue stretches from Plaza San Martin to Belgrano and is considered as one of the busiest regions of Buenos Aires.

Greater Buenos Aires sprawls over an area of 3,885 square kilometers and is made up of 19 partidos (subdivisions) including the City of Buenos Aires.

This metropolitan area is a major commercial and insutrial hub of Aregentina.
