ABOUT ASSOCHAM ( The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India )

Setup in 1920, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), is India's head chamber, with membership of over 2lakh companies in India. It represents various interests of trade and other industries, intermingles with foreign associations to promote bilateral economic issues and works with the Government on policy related topics. Members of ASSOCHAM belong to various divisions like trade and industry associations, Chambers of Commerce, national and international trade, domestic and international industry and related professionals. Years of expertise in organizing trade fairs, it has successfully conducted Indian trade shows in Sharjah, Yemen and Sudan. It has also arranged delegations to many foreign countries and has MOU partnership with business Chambers in more than 45 countries. Events like Food & Agri Exporters Conclave have been successfully organized by ASSOCHAM and it has become the main source of knowledge for the Indian industry.
