Eastern Region, partnering with the Ministry of Commerce &
Industry, Government of West Bengal is organizing the second
edition of BIZ BRIDGE, a B2B International Manufacturing
and Engineering Exhibition and Conference at Salt Lake
Stadium Helipad Ground, Kolkata from 16 - 19 December
2009. This exhibition is being organized to facilitate
better inter-linkage between the requirements and their delivery
mechanism.
West Bengal, Orissa, Chattisgarh, Jharkand and Bihar would
highlight their potential and showcase investment opportunities
and unique advantages.
Biz Bridge is an ideal platform for interaction, networking,
exchange of ideas, product display, distribution of industry
information, focused business presentation, live demonstrations,
new development and innovation and showcasing new technologies
for all stakeholders like Manufacturers, Suppliers, Ancillaries,
End-users, Government and the Industry under one roof. It
attracts visitors from the country as well as overseas. The
visitors include amongst others CEOs, Decision Makers, Technical
Experts, Diplomats and also Senior Executives from Materials, R&D,
Purchase, and Marketing.
It is intended that Biz Bridge 2009 will be organised on a
larger scale and will spread over an area of about 10,000 sqm
with special focus on the key areas of industry this year. Biz
Bridge 2008 saw 8,364 footfalls including government delegation
from centre & state and delegates from overseas.
Keeping in view the trend in the industry and to address the
need of each sector, Biz Bridge 2009 will organise parallel
state sessions and international conferences on Metals &
Minerals, Railways & Wagon Building, Power & Energy,
Defence, MSME, Material Handling, Infrastructure and Chemical &
Petrochemical during the event. This will give an
opportunity to sectors of industry to proactively engage with
each other on the latest innovation, technology and development.
The first edition saw delegations from Japan, China, Germany,
UK, Singapore, Northern Ireland, Switzerland and other ASEAN
countries. The major focus of Biz Bridge 2009 too would be on
the international participation and delegation. |
