Overview
Guangzhou, located at the north of the Pearl River delta, is an
important trading center as well as a busy port and the capital city of
the province of Guandong. Not just the biggest and the most prosperous
city in South China, Guangzhou is also the third most populous
metropolitan area in China.
This dynamic city has many interesting and beautiful legends hidden in
its past, one of which says that five gods riding on five goats brought
the first grain to the city. This legend gave Guangzhou its name The
City of Five Goats or Rams.
Being located at one of the most economically dynamic and flourishing
