The City of Shenzhen is well connected by all major means of transport and it can be reached by air, train, sea, or road.

Shenzhen Airport:
Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport is 35 kilometers from central Shenzhen and connects the city with many other parts of China, and serves some international destinations.The Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport is also called the Huangtian Airport, as it is located in the Huangtian Village. Air traffic is handled between various cities of Osaka, Kansai, Seoul, Nanchang, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta etc. 70 domestic flight routes and 5 international routes operate in and out of the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport which is one of the busiest in China. A shuttle bus connects the airport to the city center.

Local Transportation of Shenzhen:
Bus: Buses are the cheapest way to travel. Buses are available in plenty and offer a good service to travelers.

Trains: Shenzhen Railway Station is located at the junction of Jianshe Lu, Heping Lu and Renmin Nan Lu and provides links to different parts of China. There are frequent high speed trains to Guangzhou, plus long-distance trains to Beijing, Jiujiang, Maoming, Shantou and other destinations. There is another railway station located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen Xi, which is used for a small number of long distance trains, such as the one to Hefei.

Metro: The metro system was started in the year 2004 and the metro stations are the Lo Wu, World Trade Center, Old Street, Grand Theater, Science Museum, Huaquing Road, Gang Xia, Exhibition Center, Shopping Park, Honey Lake, Che Kung Temple, Bamboo Forest, East of Overseas Chinese Town, Overseas Chinese Town, And Window of the World. The service of this underground metro network is goos and there is a train every 6 minutes.
