Venues
for Commonwealth Games 2010
All
the 17 sports to appear in the Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi will
transpire at the 6 venue clusters and 5 stand-alone venues. These
venues have been chosen with utmost care and after careful
consideration. Cluster 1 will comprise of Jawaharlal Nehru Sports
Complex where ceremonies, weightlifting, athletics and Lawn Bowls
will be held. Cluster 2 will be the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex
where gymnastics, wrestling and cycling will take place. Cluster 3
will consist of the Yamuna Sports Complex where table tennis and
archery (qualification rounds) will be held. Cluster 4 will be the
Siri Fort Sports Complex where squash and badminton will take
place. Cluster 5 will be at MDC National Stadium Complex where
hockey and archery finals (India Gate) will be held. Cluster 6
will have swimming and boxing at the Talkatora Garden Complex. At
present around 26 training venues are being built for
accommodating different sports in Delhi and the progress rate has
been pretty satisfactory. Besides this, 16 more training venues
are being revamped according to the international standards.

- Siri Fort Sports Complex=Badminton and Squash
- Thyagaraj Sports Complex= Netball
- Delhi University= Rugby 7's
- Yamuna Sports Complex= Table Tennis and Archery.
- Indira Gandhi Sports Complex= Weightlifting and Wrestling
- Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range= Shooting
- Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex= Lawn Bowls
- Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium= Athletics
- Talkatora Indoor Stadium= Boxing
- Indira Gandhi Stadium= Gymnastics
- Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium= Hockey
- Dr.S.P Mukherjee Aquatics Complex= Swimming
- R.K Khanna Tennis Stadium= Tennis
- Non-Competition Venues
The Non-Competition venues for the Commonwealth Games 2010 are
chiefly the Main Media Centre , the OC CWG in New Delhi
Municipal Council (NDMC) building and Hotel Ashok (officially
recognized as the Games Family Hotel).
