CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION

This conference is a forum for all medical/healthcare educators with undergraduate, postgraduate or CPD responsibilities and interests. It is an opportunity to report and discuss themes, research and initiatives with colleagues from the UK and abroad and is of interest to all those involved in medical/healthcare education and training. The conference encouraged participants to use newer teaching and learning tools and approaches to enhance their current teaching; they may consider developing their own online distance learning courses or programmers' or they may decide to enroll on the MSc in Clinical Education. Participants gained a broader understanding of the potential of online learning and teaching, and gained practical experience of some of the available cutting-edge tools.
