CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION
The date for paper submission is fixed on 14th March, 2012 and the last date is of 11th May, 2012. The 16th Annual Australasian Teaching Economics Conference was held at the University of Technology, Sydney. The purpose of the conference was to facilitate high quality teaching and learning in economics by providing a platform where the experience, experimentation and research on approaches to teaching in economics discipline can be shared with each other and exchanged. The main speakers of the conference were Professor KimMarie McGoldrick, Joseph A. Jennings chair in Business in the Development of Economics, Robins School of Business, University of Richmond, Richmond, Virginia, USA. Every year the Annual Australasian Teaching Conference is held in different parts of the world, and they are a big success. The theme of the 2010 conference was 'Frontiers in economics teaching', and the conference aimed to improve the quality of teaching and learning of economics among students.
