CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION
The 7th International Postharvest Symposium 2012 will be linked to production of fruits, vegetables and floriculture. The conference will be attended by fruit growers and producers, Food processors, Policy makers, Traders & Entrepreneurs. The conference will enable the participants to exchange their ideas on various topics related to the subject. Some of the topics of their discussions will be like Physiological and molecular aspects of plant/ microbe interactions; Pests and diseases management; Biological control; Quarantine & Food safety and security. The 7th International Postharvest Symposium 2012 will be addressed by many speakers like Dr. Shiow Y. Wang (USDA-ARS, USA); Dr. Pietro Tonutti (Scuola Superiore Studi Universitari Sant'Anna, ITALY); Prof. Dr. Ron B. H. Wills (University of New Castle, AUSTRALIA); Prof. Dr. Errol W. Hewett (NEW ZEALAND) & Dr. Peter Hofman (QHI Maroochy Research Station, AUSTRALIA).
