CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION

OAME or The Ontario Association for Mathematics Education is a highly professional organization of those people who are very interested in Mathematics Education in Ontario. The mission of this organization is to facilitate the excellence in mathematics education throughout the province of Ontario. The main concern of the organization is to make the study of mathematics more and more interesting for the students so that are already prepared to meet the challenges of their lives and to always excel in the field of mathematics. It also aims to provide excellence to the educators by promoting their role as a facilitator and resource person. The main purpose of this organization is to make the teaching and learning of mathematics in school very interesting. The association has the following objectives- to foster the professional growth of the mathematics educators and to facilitate the development of mathematics organizations in Ontario.
