EAGALA or The Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association is a very dedicated organization and seeks to improve the mental health of the individuals, families, and groups throughout the world by setting up of a standard of excellence in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning, which is also known as horse therapy or equine therapy. Today the organization has more than 3500 members in 40 countries. It organizes annual conferences which are educational event for professionals who are practicing or are interested in the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning. In The Equine Assisted Psychotherapy horses are used for the emotional growth and learning of the patients. It is an effort put forth by the therapist and the horse professional with the help of horse for addressing the treatment goals. The Equine Assisted learning has a similar process and here the focus is on learning or in the educational goals.
