Overview
The capital of Czech Republic, Prague is an international showpiece that is
one of the most popular destinations in Eastern Europe. Built along the
river and on the surrounding hills, the city from years has captured the
hearts and imagination of painters, photographers and poets. This lovely
city with its clumsy fabricated streets, stone bridges, city squares,
characteristic Gothic architecture, Jewish quarter, tragic past of Nazi
repression and Soviet invasion are all unique in themselves and keeps
visitors spellbound.
An exclusive exception of the city demands to be explored on foot due its
entire outdoor museum of 600 years old history and a haphazard mixture of
architecture amazingly untouched by war, also making it an important UNESCO
World Heritage Site. Being capital of the country, it is not only an
important administrative and commercial center of Czech but is and further
expanding as business powerhouse of Europe also. Further the Prague
Exhibition Grounds hosting variety of exhibitions, is an important trade hub
too.
The awesome physical beauty though plays a major role, Prague actually is a
great place to go shopping too with its nightlife on the other hand being
among the liveliest in East Europe.
