Energy
Tech Expo is being organised for the second time by India
Trade Promotion Organisation in association with TERI, Bureau of
Energy Efficiency and the other important Government based
organisations in the Energy sector.
The Expo aims at helping accelerate the growth of energy sector
in Indian and thereby, assist in achieving the target, "Energy
Independence" and "Power for all by 2012"
Through Energy Tech Expo.
Energy Tech Expo will bring together technocrats,
industry leaders and senior government officials from central
and state governments as well as eminent experts from overseas,
who have wide experience in the field of generation,
transmission, distribution and maintenance and specifiers,
consultants, contractors from the energy and related sectors.
Energy Tech 2009 will showcase an astounding range of a
wide variety of energy products and related items including
latest and innovative technological developments in solar, wind,
hydroelectricity and bio-fuels segments. From this year onwards
Energy Tech will be an annual affair of ITPO. Thus it will
substantially contribute to India's efforts to boast of its
energy trade. |

Objectives |
Energy
Tech09 aims at helping accelerate the growth of energy
sector in India and thereby, assist in achieving the target, "Energy
Independence" and "Power for all by 2012",
through the following:
- Highlights the status, projections in each segment in
energy and related sectors and the opportunities offered
for greater public-private participation.
- Showcase latest technologies, products and services
to harness energy projects speedily, qualitatively and
economically.
- Identify roadblocks, if any, with the help of experts
in the field, both from India and abroad and recommend
how those could be removed/surmounted.
