Moving towards energy sustainability requires changes not only in the way energy is supplied, but in the way it is used. Opportunities for improvement on the demand side of the energy equation are as rich and diverse as those on the supply side, and often offer significant economic benefits. The “twin pillars” of an effective sustainable energy policy are Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. Both aspects must be developed in order to realize any serious vision of a sustainable energy economy.

Enviro Asia 2009 will present the Sustainable Energy Asia Conference that addresses key industry and policy issues, as well as technologies available, in the pursuit of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
