Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts, India is a non-profit organization established in the year 1986-87 under the EXIM Policy of the Government of India. Mr. Rakesh Kumar is the Executive Director of EPCH and is visionary leader. The council has its head-office in New Delhi and its regional offices in Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai. An apex body of Indian trade industry, it aims at creating awareness in various trade related subjects like export marketing, packaging, design development and handlooms export. The council has organized exhibitions in Germany and Italy and the forthcoming events include - Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair, Indian Furniture and Accessories Show. With employee strength of 51-100, it has roped in an annual turnover of 10-100 crs. This ISO 9001:2008 certified council is the base of the Indian Handicrafts industry and promotes their interests globally through various effective promotional tools.
