The 6th International EverythingAboutWater International Exhibition & Conference on Water & Wastewater Management was inaugurated on January 28, 2009 by the Chief Guest, Mr. Jaipal Reddy, Union Cabinet Minister for Urban Development, Government of India. Winner of the Lead India Campaign promoted by the Times of India, Rajendra K. Misra was the Guest of Honour.

Organized by EA Water and Co-organized by ASSOCHAM, the expo will bring the best of water technologies together under one roof, making it the perfect meeting place for buyers and sellers in the Indian water market. The exposition will also showcase the technologies available for water harvesting, water conservation, irrigation, wastewater recycling and desalination which are crucial for sustained development. The Minister also unveiled the first published copy of the Indian Water Market Report, a comprehensive consulting study on the Indian Water Sector. Addressing all stakeholders - governments, funding agencies, water industry participants, end-user industries as well as industry observers and experts, the report is an attempt to better understand the Indian water and wastewater market. The report would enable potential companies in the international water arena to understand the nuances of the Indian Water Sector and identify potential areas of opportunity before venturing into the Indian water space.
