FICCI or the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry was established in the year 1927, and is India's oldest and largest premier association of business organization. The headquarters of FICCI is situated in New Delhi; it is non-governmental and non-profit in nature and is the voice of India's business and Industry. The founder of the association was Mr. GD Birla and Purushottam Thakur and they set up this organization on the advice of Mahatma Gandhi. It serves as a platform for sector specific consensus building and networking and is the first port of call for Indian industry and the international business community. It sees the vision of becoming the thought leader for industry, the voice for policy change and the guardian for effective implementation.
Date: 05-SEP-12 to 09-SEP-12FICCI is organizing a Made in India Show in Kyiv, Ukraine from 5-9th September 2012. The event will be held at Acco International Exhibition Center, Kyiv, Ukraine. The Acco International is one of the modern exhibition center, located in the center of the Ukrainian capital. The event is a Government of India initiative to showcase India's economic capabilities with a mission to build bridges and to establish long term economic ties with different nations of the world, with special focus on CIS countries. The event will be inaugurated by Mr Anand Sharma, Hon'ble Commerce, Industry and textiles Minister, Government of India. Concurrently to the Made in India Show, India Ukraine JBC meeting is being organized on 5th September 2012 at Kyiv, followed by B2B meetings.
