| Foodtech Africa will be an international food and beverage trade fair, it will be held together with DrinkTech 2011. The various products and services that will be exhibited at the Foodtech include ingredients, additives & flavorings; manufacturing technologies; production, processing and packaging equipments. The major part accounts for the packaging industry regarding the food expenditure; it is found that more than 47% of South African's food expenditure is concerned with packaged products and US $ 2.1 billion of the country's US $3.7 billion packaging bill is spent on food and beverage packaging. Therefore, Foodtech Africa will be helpful in highlighting upon these types of issues and result into a useful analysis of the industry. |
