Major Commercial Areas
Sendling:
Located in the southwest of Munich, Sendling is a typical commercial
borough of the city with shops & businesses straddling the
Plinganserstrabe around the historical core of Sendling.
An urban square, Harras, near Sendling is the busiest square of the borough
with number of sprawling markets and commercial activities. The business
point of south Munich, Harras has many shops, working places and two of the
biggest schools of the city. In the eastern part o the borough lies an
another busy area i.e. the Wholesale Market Munich. It is Europe's
third-largest grocery market as well as the borough's largest single
employer.
Also know as the Munichs belly, Sendling houses the
legendary fruit and vegetable market as well which is one of the largest in

Situated at the north of Munich, Euroindustriepark is a large commercial
area of the city.

furniture shops like Momax, Hess & Moebelix as well as MediaMarkt,
Radlbauer with others.
The district also houses the largest Turkish carpet store in Germany called
Teppichland. .
