Introduction
The inaugural Hong Kong Spring Fair, organised by Kenfair
International Limited, was successfully launched on 10-13 January,
2006 at the brand new exhibition venue AsiaWorld-Expo situated near
the Hong Kong International Airport. Rendering a fantastic sourcing
platform for global buyers, the Spring Fair gathered a huge
congregation of 991 exhibitors in over 1,100 booths to showcase an
all-inclusive range of merchandise which no buyers keen on Asian
products could afford to miss. The exhibits list covered toys,
gifts, premium, imitation jewelry & accessories, household
products, watches & clocks, footwear, leather goods, apparel &
fashion accessories and many more. The first-time fair had attracted
a total of 10,710 international buyers from department stores, chain
stores, importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, buying
houses, sourcing agents, etc. The 1st Hong Kong Spring Fair
concluded with impressive results it set to deliver:
- An unrivalled opportunity for buyers to source the latest
products at the beginning of the year.
- A truly one-stop sourcing platform for the most comprehensive
range of consumer products.
- An exceptional chance to meet with exhibitors from various
countries in over 1,400 booths under one roof.
- A totally new sourcing experience at the brand new

The show venue - AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) is
conveniently located near the Hong Kong International Airport.
Visitor may reach the site by the following means of
transportation: |

| Airport Express |
|
The Airport Express carries you directly
to the AWE from the Hong Kong International Airport.
The whole journey only takes around one minute.
To Board the train at the Airport Station and alight at the
in-venue Asia World-Expo Station is the quickest and easiest way
of reaching AWE
Linking the city with the Airport, you may also catch the train
at Hong Kong Station, Kowloon Station or Tsing Yi Station.
Scheduled Airport Express Shuttle Buses are available for
travellers to get from particular hotels to the stations. |

| Mass Transit Railway (MTR) |
MTR (http://www.mtr.com.hk) is one of the
main public transport in Hong Kong.
The MTR system comprises 7 lines - the Kwun Tong, Tseun Wan,
Island, Tung Chung, Tseung Kwan O, Disneyland Resort and Airport
Express Lines.
It provides an easy transfer between the 7 lines so you may
proceed to one of the Airport Express interchange stations
across the city, namely Hong Kong Station, Kowloon Station or
Tsing Yi Station and arrive at AWE comfortably.

The starting rate for taxis in Hong Kong
Island and Kowloon is HK$15. Each additional 200 metres will
cost HK$1.4. Tunnel or bridge tolls will be added to the amount
on the metre. Additional charges may apply for luggage to be
carried in the boot.
