Business Overview
Yogyakarta although is not a major contributor to Indonesian Economy, is a rapidly developing region of the Indonesian islands. The City of Yogyakarta has fishing and agriculture as its major sectors which support the economy. Fishing is widely developed and is the livelihood of most of the people. Jogja Expo Center (JEC):
Jogja Expo Center (JEC) is located in south-east of Yogyakarta. The center is built and maintained by the government of Yogyakarta. JEC covers an area of 14 Hectares that includes several buildings to support the MICE activities such Hotel, Shopping Mall, International Restaurants and warehouses. The center is equipped with world class facilities that can make any exhibition or convention a huge success. JEC is strategically positioned at the center of the city and it takes less than 10 Minutes to reach the center from the Adisucipto jogja airport. The center is also near to the Tugu railway station. The Jogja Expo Center has been used for numerous national and international events. The Jogja Expo Center has a huge parking area which includes helicopter pad and a 40 feet-container space for the total of twenty trucks.
