- Turkey is the 16th exporting country in the global machine tools
industry market.
- Turkey’s export for the machine tools is 293,7 million $ in
2006, having an increase of 28% compared to 2005 .
- Turkey’s import in 2006 is 961,3 million $ and is the 9th
importing country in the global market.
- Turkey is the member of CECIMO which provides 42% of the global
machine tools output.
- The output growth rate of the Turkish machinery industry is
approximately 20%.
- Turkey is the 7th biggest country among the European countries
performing in the machinery industry with 25,4 billion $ machine
sales in Turkey.
- There are 130 kinds of agricultural machinery products that are
manufactured in Turkey.
- Machine industry constitutes 4,7 % of the total Turkish
manufacturing industry.
- Imports for the machinery manufacturing industry is 10,2 billion
$ in 2003 while it is 13,4 billion $ in 2004 and 16,3 billion $ in
