The exhibition sections at IPM 2010
With its four main focal points ("Plants", "Technology", "Floriculture" and "Sales Promotion") as well as with the first-rate international supporting programme, IPM ESSEN has been the meeting place of the green sector for 27 years. It offers the stimuli which the market needs. In the interests of an even more clearly recognisable structure, the Floriculture exhibition section will also be located in Hall 4, in the middle of the fair site. The better links to other floriculture halls and to the Green City should contribute to a further rise in the attractiveness of the Floriculture section.

Plants
In the Plants section, exhibitors present blossoming pot plants, green plants and special young plants, hydrocultures and vegetables, tree nursery plants and perennial plants as well as cut flowers, bonsai, soils, peats and substrates as well as seeds and flower bulbs.

Technology
The Technology exhibition section encompasses products from the categories of greenhouse construction, measurement and control technology as well as heating engineering, machines and devices, plant protection, pots, irrigation and drainage installations, cooling technology, transport and hoisting devices as well as commercial vehicles and trailers, tree nursery requisites, fruit and vegetable cultivation as well as horticulture and landscaping.

Floriculture
The Floriculture exhibition section includes a range of the following products: florists' requisites, arts and crafts, decoration, greetings cards and candles, dried and silk flowers, wickerwork, ornamental flowerpot holders made of glass, ceramic, porcelain and plastic as well as handmade ceramic, grave decoration, embossing machines, sales-promoting products for florists as well as shop construction and shopfittings for florists.

Sales Promotion
The Sales Promotion section has been integrated into the other three exhibition sections. There, the range on offer is completed by sales-promoting products of all kinds, products for horticultural needs, shop construction and shopfittings as well as services.
