China 10 12 March 2010, China National Convention Center Beijing, China ISH China returns to Beijing an exceptional trade location Fair to include new sanitation product group to provide an all-encompassing business platform ISH China Goes Cross Country programme receives strong industry support The eighth ISH China is scheduled to run from 10 12 March 2010. The fair one of Chinas biggest and best-known HVAC industry events returns to Beijing at the China National Convention Center and will debut a sanitation and services platform to keep up with heavy market demand. Beijing offers international HVAC manufacturers and suppliers a valuable trade destination. Amidst the recent global economic challenges, the Chinese government unveiled a USD 586 billion stimulus package to increase domestic demand and spur economic growth. The package will go to capital construction, the development of midwest China and to reconstruct the quake zone in Sichuan province. Already the Beijing region boasts the countrys second highest urban income level and some of Chinas highest living standards and disposable incomes leading to a demand in the areas of interior design and decor such as bathroom remodeling. ISH China 2010 will display a range of products, including heating installation and equipment, renewable energies, installation techniques and equipment, water treatment and equipment, air-conditioning and ventilation products and the new product group, sanitation technology and equipment. In addition to the main exhibition, there will be a Sino-European Congress to discuss topics related to energy and technology; seminars on sanitation and technology; plus a number of product demonstrations for exhibitors and visitors to take part in. ISH China Goes Cross Country programme receives strong industry support To promote ISH China 2010, fair organisers Messe Frankfurt and the China District Heating Association will host a series of mini-events throughout mainland China to help manufacturers of heating, sanitation, energy and air-conditioning technologies promote new products, develop marketing strategies and establish business ties. The events are expected to take place in Xi'an, Shenyang and Dalian on 3, 5, and 8 June 2009 respectively. ISH China is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt, the China District Heating Association and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhejiang Sub-council. The biennial show, which is part of the highly successful international ISH brand, will be the first professional industry sector show to be held in the peak-purchasing season and both exhibitors and visitors are eagerly awaiting its return to Beijing from Shanghai. The eighth edition of ISH China is co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd, China District Heating Association and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhejiang Sub-council. Mr Richard Li, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt in China said: Our local ISH experience over the years combined with Messe Frankfurts international experience in organising ISH, the worlds biggest sanitation, heating and air-conditioning show in Frankfurt, gives us a distinct advantage in being able to put all our professional efforts into creating a quality sanitation platform to meet the increasing demands for sanitation products and technology in northern China, prompted by the strong growth in real estate construction and home renovation in Beijing. Beijing offers international sanitation suppliers a valuable trade destination as the region boasts the countrys second highest urban income level and some of Chinas highest living standards and disposable incomes leading to a demand in the areas of interior design and decor such as bathroom remodeling. According to Mr Bin Zhong, Secretary-General, China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce, China has also adopted the policy of renovating Beijing homes within 10 years. Currently Beijing has 220 million sqm of housing so approximately 20 million sqm needs to be renovated every year to meet the target. This creates a strong demand for sanitation products, Mr Zhong said. This is in addition to the huge demand for home sanitation products created by the November 2008 announcement by the Chinese government which created a USD 586 billion stimulus package to increase domestic demand and to spur economic growth. Part of this allocation is going towards building six million comfortable homes and two million low-rent homes. In addition, funds are allocated for the development of mid-west China and the reconstruction of the earthquake zone in Sichuan province, Mr Zhong added. Expanded product category offers a one-stop business platform The expanded sanitation platform offers companies a chance to present their latest technologies, products and services in a number of categories. Equipment for bathroom: sanitary ceramics, bath tubs, shower trays, sink tables, hand wash sinks, urinals, toilet bowls, bath furniture, lighting fixtures, safety equipment and fittings for barrier free toilets and washrooms. Hardware Accessories: faucets, taps and mixers, towel holders, toothbrush holders, toilet paper holders, bath tub inserts and mirrors. Swimming pool and integrated bathroom: shower enclosures, complete showers, whirl baths, sauna rooms and accessories, solaria, steam baths, water hearing systems and water treatment systems. Fringe events expected to draw large number of visitors ISH China 2010 will feature a variety of fringe events aimed at different industry sectors. There will be a Sino-European congress, and seminars on sanitation and technology. Another show highlight will be the Living with water, warmth and air design showcase. This zone will display energy saving and environmental protection heating, ventilation and sanitation technology applications in residential housing, apartments, villas, hotels, office building and large public building projects from China and overseas. ISH China is part of the global ISH brand which was established in 1996. Brand shows also include ISH held in Frankfurt, Germany, ISH Kitchen and Bath Middle East held in Dubai and ISH North America held in Atlanta. CDHA has been supporting ISH China for 13 years, since its first edition in 1996, Ms Chen explained. During this time we have cooperated with Messe Frankfurt who have abundant international resources to build a prime international platform for Chinas heating industry. Both of us have successfully developed this show and our cooperation is growing and will last long into the future. The European Heating Association (EHI) is another long-time supporter of ISH China through a partnership that began in1996. EHI deals with the heating market from an industry point of view and its scope includes the European regulatory framework, its implementation, and global aspects relating to the industry. Mr Andreas Lücke, Secretary of EHI and Managing Director of Federal Industrial Association of Germany House, Energy and Environmental Technology (BDH) said the European and German heating industry has supported ISH China since it started in 1996. We see the show as Chinas most important business platform for the heating industry, he said. It is the only high quality show in China that guarantees quality professional visitors and this is why the high-tech European heating industry is happy to participate in ISH China. The Danish Board of District Heating is also a long time ISH China supporter since 2002. Ms Nathalie Chen, Secretary of the Danish Board of District Heating in China commented: Many of our members have expressed strong interest in exhibiting at ISH China because they know the show attracts high quality visitors.
