The Indian Society of Lighting Engineers (ISLE) the organizers of the event,is professionally registered with illumination engineering with a wide spread membership of designers, scientists academicians,engineers and architects.

ISLE organizing Light India International in Chennai during 4-7 March 2011 in context of the industrial and technological taking place in Tamil Nadu and neighboring States.ISLE had organized such lighting specialty trade shows in New Delhi,Bangalore and Indore.

ISLE is affiliated to the CIE(International Commission on Illumination),associated with the Bureau of Indian Standards,the Department of Science and Technology,closely related with Ministry of power and the Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources.

ISLE is also a member of Lux Pacifica, a lighting body that represents 60% of the world's population.
