Business Overview
The world leader for design and one of the world capitals for fashion; Milan is the Mother City of world’s most acclaimed apparel and clothing brands. Its image of the glamour capital is further enhanced by its music production and publishing industries.

Perhaps Italy’s most industrialized city, Milan holds numerous outstanding trade fairs and expos. Its notable Exhibition Center and Trade Fair complex, Fiera Milano, though being new is the largest trade fair complex in the world. Fiera Milano Complex:
Since 1994 Fiera Milano Congressi has been successfully managing event venues. Today it has three convention centers in its Fiera Milano Complex:

Milano Convention Center (MIC):
With up to 36 conference halls and capacity of more than 25,000 people, Milano Convention Center today is the largest in Italy. The center was designed in 2002 and was doubled in size in 2005.

Along with spacious exhibition halls (total 85,000m2), the center also possesses a 2,000 seat Auditorium and large number of rooms for congresses.

Stella Polare:
It is a futuristic conference center situated in Fiera Milano New Exhibition Complex in the northwestern suburb of Pero & Rho opened in April 2005. This notable Exhibition Center and Trade Fair complex is perhaps the largest trade fair complex in the world.

The complex comprises of a 1,000 seat auditorium, 9 conference halls, a large, luminous foyer and numerous offices.

Spazio Villa Erba:

The conference center is situated on Lake Como.

Major Commercial Areas
Corso Buenos Aires:
Corso Buenos Aires is wide boulevard running northeast from Giardini Pubblici. It is one of the largest commercial main roads of Milan and is also considered the main communication artery connecting the city center with the small business and large-scale industrial districts.

Lined with numerous boutiques, this biggest shopping street in the city is said to have the highest concentration of clothing and merchandise stores in Europe. it also famous for great bargains during sales periods, after Christmas and in mid-summer, when the two-mile stretch of shop windows is filled with colorful price tags.

The Corso Buenos Aires is easy to reach as it is well served by the metro. Further with many ethnic restaurants, the boulevard has a cosmopolitan feel.
