Krishi happens to be one of the premier Indian agricultural sector-related trade events. The show serves as an ideal interaction platform for leading professionals from this sector, with farmers and other technical experts. The Krishi Show boasts of more than 235 professional exhibiting participants, displaying a wide range of agricultural products, tools and accessories to the show attendees. Food-processing equipments, seed and farm technology, irrigation and water-management tools, horticultural products and high-efficiency farm machinery are among the prime items of exhibit at the show. IT solutions in agriculture and dairy and livestock products are also showcased in Krishi 2011and the event draws participation from government agencies as well. Krishi draws in over 225000 visiting participants on a regular basis, making it one of the most attended trade shows of its kind in the country. Delegates from both the host nation, as well as from Australia, Israel, Italy and France attend the show. Around 94 per cent of the total visitors attend the show to get acquainted with the latest innovations in the agricultural sector and the event is attended by farmers in large numbers.
