Event Profile: The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, is now firmly established as the world's most influential lighting event and it plans to celebrate its 17th edition in 2012 with another record breaking show.
In 2011, the four-day show, which ran concurrently with Electrical Building Technology Guangzhou attracted 100,465 visitors, an increase of 40 per cent compared to 2010. Exhibitor numbers also rose to 2,931, a 41 per cent increase, and the total exhibition area was 210,000 sqm, covering 20 halls.
