Event Profile: To support China's fast growing trend of energy-saving, comfortable, safe and sustainable buildings, the first ever Beijing International Building Technology show will make its debut in Beijing in April 2012. It will be held concurrently with ISH and CIHE, the China International Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning. The two fairs will combine heating, lighting and air-conditioning, which are the three major energy components in a building, and integrate them with automation control systems and electrical energy-saving technology. Event Profile: The Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition, organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, is now firmly established as the world's most influential lighting event and it plans to celebrate its 17th edition in 2012 with another record breaking show.
In 2011, the four-day show, which ran concurrently with Electrical Building Technology Guangzhou attracted 100,465 visitors, an increase of 40 per cent compared to 2010. Exhibitor numbers also rose to 2,931, a 41 per cent increase, and the total exhibition area was 210,000 sqm, covering 20 halls.
