Apart from being the administrative center, Amsterdam is also the financial
and business capital of Netherlands and one of the most important cities in

The Amsterdam Stock Exchange:
The former stock exchange of the city, Amsterdam Stock Exchange got merged
in September 2000 with the Brussels Stock Exchange and Paris Stock
Exchange to form Euronext, and is now known as Euronext Amsterdam. Euronext
is now a pan-European stock exchange based in Paris with subsidiaries in
Belgium, France, Netherlands, Portugal and UK.
The Euronext broadly manages two indices, the Euronext 100 Index, which is
the blue chip index, while 150 Index is a market capitalization index.

Zonolite Road:
A fascinating little business district, Zonolite Road is largely a
semi-industrial warehouse district located adjacent to the railroad tracks
