Transportation & Reach
Auckland is the largest urban area in New Zealand. The city thus has the advantage of having a well developed transport system. The city is well connected by all major modes of transport- bus, taxi or train. The city airport connects Auckland to all major parts of the world.

Auckland Airport:
Auckland International Airport: The airport is located 21 kilometers from the city center. The Auckland International Airport is the largest and busiest airport of New Zealand. Several domestic and international airlines operate to and from Auckland international airport. Some of these are Aerolineas Argentinas, Aircalin, Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Emirates, EVA Air and Korean Air.

Auckland Railway Transportation:
The railway network in the city is very well developed. There are trains from and to every major part of New Zealand. Trains are a cheap and a quick way to travel in and around Auckland. The Tranz Metro Train service is the best in the city and runs train services in three routes running from the Britomart station. One service is to Waitakere and two to Pukekohe.

Local Transportation of Auckland:
Bus: The inter city Bus Service is known by the name of Link Bus Service. The buses are popularly known as 'white buses' because of their white color. The buses connect almost every part of Auckland. The city bus stations includes queen street, Sky City and Parnell. The intra city bus system is known as Stagecoach Auckland which offers excellent services to the prime tourist attractions. The 'Explorer City' is a double decker bus service that provides services to 14 destinations around the city.

Taxi: The main taxi stand is located at Customs Street West at Queen Street. Apart from this various taxi terminals are located in and around city. Traveling through taxis is not only convenient but also safe.

The city of Auckland popularly known as the 'City of Sails' is frequently visited by tourists from all over the world. The city being the economic hub of New Zealand is also flocked with business visitors round the year.
