Oceantex is one of the premier oil and gas industry related trade events in India. Organized at the Bombay Exhibition Center, the show is held over a period of four days and brings all the latest developments and updates from the offshore technology, refining, transport and logistics and other related sectors under its purview. The show boasts of a large contingent of foreign participants as well. The SMP World Expo and the Enertech World Expo are held concurrently with the show.
Oceantex draws in more than 223 exhibiting companies, looking to showcase a large array of oil and gas sector related products and equipments to the visitors at the show. Some of the main items of exhibits here are reactors, storage tanks, maintenance tools, cathodic protection equipments, pipelines and boilers. Heat exchangers, distillation columns, electrical appliances, recovery plants, pumps and valves are also showcased here. Flares, scrubbers, monitoring tools, drilling equipments, safety products, testing and consultancy services, engineering tools and financial services are also exhibited during the event. Over 53 foreign exhibitors are also present here. Several top companies come to exhibit at the show, including Cairn India Ltd. and ONGC.
Oceantex boasts of more than 10000 visitors at each of its editions. Qualified technicians, operations managers, corrosion control experts, refining and pipeline professionals, contractors and manufacturers are some of the prime attendees to the show. EPC consultants, researchers, purchase managers and safety experts are also present here. Project managers, senior corporate executives and industry decision makers participate in the event as well. Representatives from several noted domestic as well as international trade associations come to the show as well.
