Agenzia Napoletana Energia e Ambiente (Naples Agency for Energy and Environment), also known as ANEA, is a nonprofit association based in Italy that advocates the cause of preservation of the non-renewable sources of energy as a means to protect the environment. Established in the year 1997 with the financial support from the European Union, this leading organization has been working relentlessly in this sector with an aim to promote renewable sources of energy and to stop wastage of energy for environmental protection. Headquartered in Napoli, Italy, the Director of ANEA is Mr. Michael Macaluso. A member of the Network of Italian Agents (RENAEL), ANEA provides quality information, training and technical support to local governmental and commercial bodies to encourage innovations and developments in this sector. In accordance with its mission, ANEA also organizes a premium related industry event, ENERGYMED annually.
