The Alaska Society for Technology in Education (ASTE) is a professional organization whose mission is to promote access to technology, connectivity to information resources and technology integration for all Alaskan learners. The Alaska Society for Technology in Education (ASTE) is a group of technology educator volunteers in the state of Alaska. ASTE was founded in 1981 and holds a quarterly conference where technology coordinators from across the state meet to present and share on a variety of technology topics. ASTE is a volunteer organization run by teachers and administrators that are widely spaced throughout Alaska. The Alaska Society for Technology in Education (ASTE) has been in existence for almost 25 years and came equipped with a long digital history.
