ABOUT APAARI

APAARI is the abbreviation for Asia Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions that aims to encourage the growth of National Agricultural Research Systems, better known as NARS in the entire Asia Pacific region through intra regional and inter institutional collaboration. Founded in December 1990, Thailand, this association is headquartered in Phra Nakorn, Bangkok. International Symposium on Under utilised Plant Species, Crops for the Future Beyond Food Security, International Conservation Agriculture Workshop and Conference in Southeast Asia are some of the conferences that this organization would host in near future. Dr. S. Ayyappan, from ICAR, India is the Chairman of APAARI. The conferences that this organization hosts deal with provincial collaboration, growth human resources resource generation and also the promotion of information network.
