ABOUT Assam Don Bosco University

As an institution for higher education, the Don Bosco University was inaugurated on 6th December, 2008. Born out of an initiative taken by the Salesians of Don Bosco, or the SDB, this university aims at achieving highest degree of academic excellence by offering top class education in a wide range of streams followed by outstanding placements. Also known by its abbreviated form, DBU, this university is located in Guwahati, Assam in India and it is currently being steered by its Chancellor, Father Joseph Almeida. Not just quality education, this university also strives to instill values and ethics in its students for giving a holistic shape to their future. In keeping with its missions, this university also conducts several workshops, seminars and conference, the Seminar called Pathways to Future being a past event while National Conference on Computational Intelligence and Signal Processing is an upcoming conference.
