Beneath The Sea (BTS is a nonprofit organization in New Jersey, USA, working tirelessly for increasing awareness about oceans and scuba diving as a sport. It was founded in 1976 by its current Executive Director, Mr. Armand Zigahn and JoAnn Zigahn is its President. It has won many accolades for promoting the cause of conservation and protection of aquatic wildlife wherein it has also given grants to other organizations for the same. It organizes an international poster contest called Ocean Pals for the mission of educating children about the oceans. Its Scuba and Dive Travel Show the largest consumer show, has within its portfolio various seminars, workshops, awards and a film festival showcasing almost everything related to underwater including works of renowned underwater videographers. It hosts parties, exhibits and demonstrations by numerous manufacturers, resorts, dive shops to name a few.
