British Fashion Council
The British Fashion Council (BFC) owns and organises London Fashion Week and the Lycra British Style Awards, the annual celebration of the best of British fashion. It also seeks to help British designers to develop their businesses and has published Designer Fact File, a guide to setting up a designer fashion business, and the Designer Manufacturing Handbook. Created in 1983, the BFC is a non-profit making limited company and is financed by industry sponsors.
