ABOUT Camera & Imaging Products Association

Based in Japan, Camera and Imaging Products Association was incorporated on the 1st of July, 2002 for the purpose of promoting the visual equipment industry by addressing several key challenges that this industry faces from time to time. Also abbreviated as CIPA, this organization engages in various scientific and technological research and innovations and also enables knowledge exchange for maximum benefit of this sector. The head office of this organization is located in Tokyo and it is currently being led by Mr. Makoto Kimura, the CIPA President. Working for the interests of its member community which comprises of professionals and industries pertaining to the visual and optical equipment sector, this organization is also involved with the production of the Camera and Photo Imaging Show, an industry event that is in queue.
