ABOUT Centre for Research on Computer Supported Learning and Cognition , CoCo

The mission of CoCo is to contribute to research in the field of the learning sciences in order to discover how innovative learning technologies and pedagogical approaches can enhance formal and informal learning. It is a University of Sydney Research Centre that operates within the Faculty of Education and Social Work. In terms of theory and methodology, research at CoCo contributes to the field of the learning sciences. This emerging international and interdisciplinary field brings together researchers from the fields of education, computer and information science, cognitive science and psychology, artificial intelligence, linguistics, sociology, and anthropology to work on problems that are intellectually, economically, and socially central to life in the 21st century. CoCo provides various postgraduate study opportunities, including research degree supervision at the Masters and PhD levels.
