ABOUT Central Food Technological Research Institute

Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), like all other institutes and laboratories of CSIR, has a Management Council which monitors the affairs of the institute within the framework of the rules & regulations and directions & guidelines of CSIR. The Management Council acts as an appellate authority for the grievances of the employees of the institute, as also the authority to write off the irrecoverable material and monetary losses of the institute, within the limits prescribed by CSIR. It also exercises such functions and powers as are not specifically assigned to the Research Council or the Director, in addition to dealing with other matters referred to it by the Director General of CSIR.
