ABOUT Chemical Society of Thailand, CST

Chemical Society of Thailand (C.S.T.) under Royal Patronage was founded in 1980 with the main purpose of collaborating with other international chemical societies. C.S.T. under Royal Patronage has since organized various activities and currently has approximately 900 members. The Chemical Society of Thailand maintains at least 15 and not more than 25 committee members, consisting of chairperson, vice-chairpersons, secretariat, vice-secretariat, financial officer, public relation officer, registrar officer, and other appropriate positions. The committee members can hold the positions for a term of two years at a time and may continue to serve no longer than four years. If any position becomes vacant before the term is met, the chairperson of the committee may assign the position to another appropriate society member, but the newly assigned officer may not serve longer than the remaining time of the current term.
