ABOUT Chicago Philatelic Society

Chicago Philatelic Society or the CPS in short was established in the year 1886. Previously known as the Chicago Stamp Collectors Union, it now holds the prestigious first rank among all the chapters of the American Philatelic Society. Based at Chicago in USA, this organization is known for its continued service to the stamp industry for years. The shows organized by this society hosts dealers, exhibitors and all stamp lovers from across the country. They organize exhibitions displaying unique and ancient stamps which are a great source of knowledge to the visitors. In association with the Military Postal History Society, they also organize a must visit exhibition which concentrates on the stamps of various war periods. Administered by the President of the society Mr. Alfred F. Kugel it is the proud organizer of the CHICAGOPEX, one of the largest stamp shows in Chicago.
