ABOUT Cired Secretariat

Starting its journey as a conference, CIRED has now acquired the status of an independent organization. Established in the year 2004, as an association, it was previously organized by Association Des Ingenieurs de Montefiore. It is situated in Liege, in Germany aiming at enhancing the skills of the people working in the electricity distribution sector. It is a nonprofit organization which is on a mission to bring together people working in all sectors like consulting, business or service and ultimately increase their efficiency. They mainly cater to the needs of the technical division of the Electricity Distribution Systems like the implanted and the scattered generation systems. Captained by the Chairman, Sven Lindgren, it also aims at designing, operating and constructing large electric plants and utilizing them for almost every industry. It also organizes the International Electricity Conference and Exhibition annually.
