ABOUT Computer Science Department

The Computer Science Department of Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Russia aims to provide outstanding higher education and to carry out high level research in the field of computer science and engineering. The Department offers research opportunities involving the students in national and international research projects. The Department approaches a wide range of research topics which addresses fundamental issues in Computer Science and Information Technology: design and analysis of algorithms, denotational semantics, formal languages, data communications, computer graphics, computer aided design, operating systems; data bases object-oriented methods, parallel algorithms and processing etc. The Department is involved in national and international research grants and contracts in cooperation with other universities or industrial partners. The Department of Computer Science has 68 members: 58 academic staff and 10 auxiliary members.
