ABOUT College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering

College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, Albany abbreviated as CNSE and established in 2001 is the first college in the world that is dedicated to research, development, education and deployment in the emerging disciplines of nanoscience, nanoengineering, nanobioscience, and nanoeconomics. The institute aims at being a world-class facility for the exploration and dissemination of basic and applied nanoscale knowledge in the interdisciplinary science and engineering fields of nanotechnology. Alain E. Kaloyeros is the Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of CNSE and has made major contributions to ensure that the organization stands out as an intellectually vibrant powerhouse for research and education in nanotechnology. Conferences like the annual Physical Electronics Conference and the Global Nanotechnology Conferences are some of the noteworthy efforts of the organization.
