As a premier body in the medical field, the Diabetes In Pregnancy Study Group India, also known as DIPSI, is an organization that aims to spread knowledge and awareness regarding the latest methods and techniques to minimize the effects of diabetes during pregnancy and its impacts on child birth. This organization has its main office in Chennai and the administration of this organization is under the control and guidance of its President, Prof. Seshiah V. Boasting of representing a wide range of professionals related to the field including obstetricians, diabetes physicians, dietitians, midwives, pediatrician, diabetologists and neonatologists, this organization assumes the leadership role in providing its assistance for promoting the field in the best possible manner. Apart from the DIPSI Conference that it organizes regularly, this organization is looking forward to the scientific conference of the International Association of Diabetes and Pregnancy Study Groups or IADPSG.
