ABOUT Digital Preservation Europe

As a company wholly dedicated to the service of the digital materials industry, Digital Preservation Europe, also known as DPE, plays the primary role in connecting the existing national initiatives from all over the European Research Area. Currently operating under the leadership of its Director, Mr. Seamus Ross, the main office of this company is located Glasgow, Scotland. The prime objective of this company is to promote and preserve the digital materials sector by encouraging coordination and cooperation among the key members of this industry. To further its mission, DPE organizes various programs including conferences and expositions relevant to this sector. It had organized a popular unconference called 'ex-cite' in the past while 'Digital Preservation Challenge' is an upcoming event.
