Eastern African Fine Coffees Association (EAFCA) is an area-based non-profit association dealing with the coffee industry in 11 member countries including Congo, Ethiopia, Tanzania, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Established on July 2000, this premier organization is headquartered in Kampala, Uganda and its management board is currently being led by Mr. Leslie D. Omari. Aimed at building networks and connections through its many interactive events and trade promotional and committed to encourage the development of the African fine coffee industry, this organization has a wide range of activities such as exhibitions, fairs and conferences. Besides its regular events like the annual 'African Fine Coffee Conference & Exhibition', the regional coffee auctions and 'Taste of Harvest' events, EAFCA has also organized 'Meet the Coffee Buyer Event' and 'African Coffee Safari' while the 'Ruiru Coffee Fair' is one of its upcoming events.
