ABOUT Energy research Centre of the Netherlands

Making a successful start in the year 1955, the Energy research Centre of the Netherlands, also known as ECN, is well known as one of the most leading energy research institutes in Europe that focuses its activities on developing the renewable and alternative energy sectors including solar energy, wind energy, biomass and bio energy industries. The main office of this organization is located in Petten, the Netherlands and it is currently being steered by Mr. Paul Korting, Chairman of the board of directors of this organization. ECN strives to create and disseminate high standards of knowledge and technology for a sustainable energy system and helps the market gain considerably from the latest innovations in this field. The European Conference on CCS Research, Development and Demonstration and the ECN Solar Conference are two major conference of ECN.
