ABOUT Federal University of Uberlandia

The Federal University of Uberlandia is an institution in the southwest of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is a public university and therefore it does not charge any tuition for the enrolled students, located in Uberlandia. The UFU has a universe of 1,300 teachers, 17,000 students and about 3,000 administrative staff, developing its activities. UFU offers 33 different undergraduate degrees, including an extremely sought-after Medicine degree, more traditional options such as Law and Economics, plus a handful of Engineering and a wide array of Science and Art degrees. UFU, beyond their undergraduate and graduate, has two units of Special Education - School of Basic Education and Health Technical School - linked to the Rectory, responsible for basic education and vocational education.
